Face covering exemption
As face coverings become mandatory on public transport and other enclosed spaces, we have had a number of queries regarding doctor’s notes for face covering exemptions. Please note, an explanation may be required to clarify an exemption from the regulation – but a doctor’s note is not required.
Further information on exemptions can be found here https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-safer-travel-guidance-for-passengers#exemptions-face-coverings
Please follow this link to find useful Face Mask Exemption Cards and COVID-19 cards to support those people who may not be able to wear face coverings.
