How do I make my appointment?
To book a flu clinic appointment please call one of the dedicated flu lines – 01270 275986 or 01270 275810 between 8.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Appointments are also available to book online.
What will happen when I arrive?
This year, we will be running our flu clinics differently to ensure that we are Covid safe. There will be no waiting area inside the practice building. When you arrive please follow the signs and queue outside, observing social distancing. You will be told when you can enter the practice building and which room number to go to. There will be a one-way system in place. Please come prepared for the weather. Seating will be available if required.
What do I need to do?
Wear a face covering when you attend for your vaccination, ensure you wash your hands before and after, DO NOT attend if you or a close contact have symptoms or have had contact with a suspected/confirmed case. Please attend alone unless you require a carer or the support of another.
What do I do after I’ve had my vaccination?
Most patients can leave the site immediately; however, in some cases you may be asked to remain on the premises for a short while.
Household contacts of those on the NHS Shielded Patient List
Household contacts of those on the NHS Shielded Patient List, specifically individuals who expect to share living accommodation with a shielded person on most days over the winter and therefore for whom continuing close contact is unavoidable should also get vaccinated.
Ensuring your safety
We will be wiping down clinical areas between each patient vaccination to ensure your safety.
